Aside from writing some of the most popular songs for Bad Manners while playing bass for them, King Hammond (AKA Nick Welsh ) has worked with the Selecter / 3 Men & Black) and some of the greats of Ska & Reggae music including Prince Buster, Laurel Aitken, Rico Rodriguez, Dave Barker, Susan Cadogan, Judge Dread and Lee 'Scratch' Perry.
King Hammond headlined the very first Ska Place Promotions 'Longshot' event and will be returning to Cardiff to headline another Ska Place event very soon.
